With the help of copywriter Sam Godsy, we decided to create some spec work for Goodreads.
Problem: How can we get people to interact with the Goodreads app? Can we get non-readers to read? Can we get readers to be more active in the reading community?
Our solve: We put a lot of focus on social media and a campaign surrounded around enjoying quiet accomplishments. We were able to come up with social media posts that targeted people at certain times of the day when they would likely be reading. We want to encourage people to log their books on Goodreads. We made celebratory posts for people to share when they hit certain milestones. We also created an Apple Watch app that counts page turns!
